Table for 16 please!

I’m hitting my mid-twenties and I’m just starting to dress myself. Yes, you read that right- I usually ask for help to pick out an outfit but lately that isn’t the case. I think it’s safe to say that I’m really starting to get a feel for what I like when it comes to clothes. Look at me growing up. *sticks my flat chest out with pride!*

This past weekend I got an opportunity to ….how should I say…dunk my toes in the cool waters of fashion. My boyfriend and I met his friends at a restaurant called Scion to celebrate his birthday. There was a total of about 16 humans in our little dinner party (hence the title of this post) and we really did have a great time!

Here is what I wore that evening…

I opted for all black with a color shoe. Partly because it’s the easier thing for me to put together and partly because I just love my black leather skirt. Its’ a Zara basic purchase  that I made last year and it stills serves me well!

For my face I opted to go light with the makeup. Not that you can really tell because I took this photo with my phone in just okay lighting. Bear with me I will get better at this. In concerns to my hair I  went with a twist out, which worked out well , thank God! With my natural hair its either a hit or miss! Yikes!

It was all worth it when my boyfriend looked over at me and said “you look gorgeous, thank you for tonight” *cue the Disney music as we ride off into the night sky on a shooting star*

Hope your week is going well so far!

Don’t forget to comment and tell me what your favorite go to outfit is!

I'm sadly forgetting to keep up with your posts. You should throw something at me so I don't forget. Onwards though.

I love your outfit. The shoes were a nice little added surprise as I scrolled down. [And inadvertently made me think of Steph who loves purple.]

Ugh, you've now made me want to shop some more. I just finished buying stuff. Anywho, until next post!

so this twist out is gorg! Love it! I love your outfit as well. I feel like I've never really been brave enough to wear whatever I want or like but we are turning 25 this year and I'm going to make it a point to allow myself the opportunity to be ME. I also LOVE the soft make-up. your glowing! 🙂
