Black and White for the Night

Chellloooo,

This past weekend was rather lovely! I went to a 31st birthday celebration with my beau and of course used this as an opportunity to dress up a bit. I chose to wear a printed black and white pant with a black blazer. When I first put the outfit on I was not a fan of it but once I added the hair and makeup everything seemed to come together.

For this makeup look I made an attempt at a smokey eye and red lip.I have been trying for such a long time to get my red lip perfect. I mean Adrienne Bailon perfect. (her IG is amaze!) I think I finally got it right! Learning how to do make just seems like a days of trail and error until you find the correct products and application process for your complexion. Wouldn’t you agree?  I’m still getting the hang of this eye shadow thing so bear with me! lol

I may have gone slightly overboard with my bun. It’s the biggest that I have ever worn it. The way that this bun turned out with the red lip reminded me of the sort of style you might see a geisha wearing. If chopsticks were still in as a hair accessory you might have seen one in my head!

All in all I had so much fun laughing with friends and sharing a good time with the love of my life. How was your weekend? Any makeup tips you’d like to share? I love to learn new things so don’t be shy! Hit the comment section below!

Sincerely,

Nate♥
