Protective Style for Natural Hair Using Curlformers

Hey!

Happy October to you all! I can’t believe that we are already in October *smacks forehead* Can you?

I’m back with another hair post and *pauses for dramatic effect* another video!! This time I went back to an oldie but goodie in order to style my natural hair! I used my set of Curlformers! To see my first post on using this styling tool click here.

To set this style I used the following tools:

  • Fingers (for detangling)
  • Curlformers kit
  • Shea butter
  • Olive oil foam mousse

I forgot how easy it was to use my Curlformer set to achieve the perfect Shirley Temple curls. This hair style lasted for about a day on its own which was slightly disappointing. After that I pulled it up into a bun as the curls just weren’t defined enough for me. Next time I will try using a soft hold gel instead of the mousse.

I hope you enjoyed the video! Don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube Channel and share this video with your friends!

Have you ever tried curl formers before? How do you curl your natural hair?

Sincerely,

Nate♥
